Targhee/ nylon SW sock yarn Cranberry/ magenta
Targhee is a wonderful wool to wear next to the skin. It was developed in Idaho in the 50s from Rambouillet, Corriedale, and Lincoln sheep and is fine 21-25 microns.
This yarn is grown and processed in the US and I dye it. After dyeing the yarn fulled quite a bit and I think it will make some very comfy socks.
Each skein has:
about 455 yards
90% super wash Targhee wool
100% made in the USA
gauge, about 7-7.5 sts/ inch
Machine washable, I wash with like colors on cold. I usually air dry my socks.
The color is "cranberry", it has many shades of magenta with occasional black areas. I compare the photos to the yarn in front of me and do the best to see that it matches. My monitor and your monitor may not show color in the exact same way. One skein looks different but it just has much less black than the others, they were all in the same pot.
